Draft Constitution 2018

Dear Chamber Members

RE:          Beenleigh Yatala Chamber of Commerce Draft 2018 Constitution &

  Notice of Special Resolution Meeting

As part of our 2018 goals, your Board agreed to complete a full review and redraft of the BYCC Constitution.  During 2017, whilst we were auditing our policies and procedures, it was discovered that the most recently registered Constitution was 1986.  There had been several changes to the Constitution over the years, none of which had been formally Registered with the Office of Fair Trading.

The Board has careful analysed previous copy and amended the document, to give us its current proposed form.

Please find below a copy of the proposed Constitution for you to view and comment on.  If you wish  to provide a comment or amendment please do so before the close of business on the 15th May 2018.  You can do so by emailing secretary@bycc.com.au or admin@bycc.com.au

This proposed Constitution will be voted on at the Chamber’s 15th June Breakfast event held at the Logan Lighting Soccer Club 49 Boundary Street Beenleigh at 7am.  We will be having a special resolution meeting at the end of this event for all members to vote on the adoption of the proposed Constitution.

If you need further information, please contact us on 0412589713 or email admin@bycc.com.au.

Yours faithfully

Karen Murphy

President
